Our staff has over 50 years of metallographic experience in both preparation and analysis of ferrous powder metals. We offer analysis of powders, failure analysis of p/m parts, quality control samples, etc. In addition, we are prepared to offer advanced analysis such as, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Image Analysis, Auger Analysis, etc.

If you have a lab to prepare the samples, we can train your employees to prepare specimens and analyze structures. In addition, we can assist you in setting up a new metallographic laboratory with the proper equipment to fit your needs.

Furnace and Atmosphere Technology:

FAST`s personnel are equipped to conduct O2 and dewpoint readings for trouble-shooting furnace and atmosphere problems in your facility.

Our staff is also equipped to do an on-site "process analyses" of your atmosphere system. This includes determining the proper atmosphere flow rate, evaluating the atmosphere flow controls for proper calibration, and safety issues associated with the atmosphere system.
